Hi ladies hope you can put my mind at ease. Started bleeding tonight. Just browny/red in colour. No pain but now concerned that something is wrong. If I were on my normal cycle I would be due about now.
Having read many of the questions posed by many ladies in a similiar situation I just really need advise. I've phoned NHS Direct and then my out of hours doctor. Hopefully he should be ringing me soon.
I'm so upset and yet I want to know that everything is fine.
I need a hug

It's terribly unsettling, and you must be so scared.
Just remember that bleeding during pregnancy is quite common and there are many different causes . You've done the right thing by contacting NHS Direct and your out of hours doctor.
Of course, if the bleeding becomes heavy with large clots you should get yourself straight to A&E.
But in the meantime, batten down the emotional hatches, and stay calm and positive until you know what's going on.
Thank you for replying to me. I was an emotional wreck last night!! My partner was a star and calmed me down.
The doctor rang me and really stated what you have said. The main key factor is to rest and be positive but if the bleeding gets heavier go to hospital.
So how do I feel today. Apart from tired, no pain and still some bleeding. No change from last night. I will get in touch with the midwife on monday and see what she says.
Like anyone in the position I just want to know I'm ok.
