VBAC after c section 9 months ago

Any experiences of VBAC? I had a baby 9 months ago and I am not pregnant again. The babies will be 16 months apart. I had an emergency c section after being induced.

I'm really confused as to whether I should have VBAC or c section as the midwife said it was fine!

You will have an appointment with a consultant where they will discuss it with you, explaining the different risks. Before i had my consultation i was convinced i wanted to try VBAC, When I had my consultation i changed my mind because of various risk factors. They should take you through the relevant ones to you and listen to what you want, then you can make a decision. I'm now comfortable that going for a planned section is 100% the right thing for me. I had a failed induction with my first which ended in emergency c-section and the only thing I didn't want was a repeat as it was awful.

I think I had my consultation at about 20-21 weeks so if you don't have an appointment yet I'd ask your midwife about it.

Good luck x
