Hi I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant and having the same problem it is such a nuisance isn’t it, I don’t like the thought of taking paracetamol everyday so I try to drink loads of water and rest when I can which is easier said than done I know unless it’s really unbearable I will take 1 paracetamol. Hopefully our headaches subside soon!

Just to be safe I’d check you don’t suffer preeclampsia. This can cause you sore heads due to the high blood pressure. X

I had headaches quite bad in first and second trimester. I did go and get eyes checked. They said i needed stronger prescription but the headaches were hormone related. I get them not as often in third trimester but been advised when they are there with nosebleed to

Go get checked. Thankfully on 4th week without them. I found vix on my temples really eased them and a warm flannel on forehead

I had a lot of headaches at that time of pregnancy, but now (24 weeks) I'm ok. Paracetamol is safe so I wouldn't worry about it. For me drinking water sometimes helped, putting wet towel on my forehead, I also avoided sweets and coffee, but not sure if that made a difference, it just felt right.

Do you have your midwife appointment soon? They'll check your blood pressure then. And here's information when to seek help: nhs.uk/pregnancy/related-co...

Good luck with your pregnancy!

I used 4head for my headaches during pregnancy as I didnt like the idea of taking any drugs if I could avoid it. It's a cutaneous stick you apply to your forehead. Some people swear by it, others say it doesn't work for them. I found it worked for some headaches but not others, I guess depending on the cause. Otherwise, it's just all the usual stuff- plenty of water, less screen time, more sleep, if it's stress related some breathing and meditation exercises?

I have always suffered with headaches, however they have become more frequent and longer lasting during my pregnancy. After suffering with one for 7 days, I made an appointment at my doctors to have my blood pressure checked. I would recommend this if you are worried it is more than just a headache. Funny enough, after I went to the doctors the headache cleared up. The doctor did prescribe me stronger painkillers, which is an option, but i must admit, I haven't taken these as I don't even like taking paracetamol unless I really have to. Congratulations on your pregnancy btw and good luck with the headaches - I hope they clear up for you soon. P.S. a massage and an ice pack sometimes help :)
