Baby has dry skin around mouth

My 6 month old baby has dry skin around her mouth and chin area. I believe it began when she used the wrong size dummy, it was too small and held saliva there. Also she dribbles/teethed/ blows Raspberries too. However we changed dummys 2 weeks ago and the rash is still there. As I haven't managed to go GP hoping it will pass on it's own, does anyone know how I can treat it, or if there's any creams etc? Many thanks in advance ☺

My little boy is very dribbly and gets dry skin on his chin sometimes, I either put sudocrem or child’s farm moisturiser on it and it clears up xx

Emollient is great for this. Aveeno is good. Apply it as much as possible. I think most teething babies get a rash on their chin at some point. Keep trying to change the dribble bib once it’s wet.

I tried all the above creams and they worked for a little while on my little girl but the rash was still there and coming back, so I called the GP whom gave me a prescription cream and it now seems to be getting better quicker - thanks for all your advise I still have the creams to use for her body
