Quick question please. I am wondering if I need to give my 6 month old vitamins. He has always in bottle fed but we are Indian and I know Indian people don't normally absorb enough vitamin D. The advice seems to be vitamin A, C and D. What did everyone else do?

Baby and vitamins
Hi
Once your baby is six months old, and up until they are five years, daily vitamin A, C and D supplements are recommended (unless they're having 500ml or more of first infant formula each day). Taken from NHS website.
This is what I give my 15month old. You can get Wellbaby drops with them all in.
Kind regards Caroline 😊
If your baby is formula fed, you don’t need to give them any supplements until there milk intake drops below 500ml. That’s the NHS guidance. Formula is fortified with vitamin D xx
My son is full breast fed and my midwife advised me to give 0.5ml drop of vitamin D daily. I started giving him when he was 6 weeks I put droplets at his cheeks. For my understanding formula is fortified with vitamin d already. All newborn, babies, children and adults are advised to take vitamin D regardless of their ethnicity from autumn to spring when there’s no sun our skin to absorb. Some other people who cover their bodies from head to toe take vitamin D all year around.
