Bump growing over the day

Hi

It may seem like a weird one, so apologies for this. I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second and just wonder if anyone else goes through this.

I wake up with a normal fair bump for 24 week I believe ( picture), and by the end of the day when getting ready for bed my bump feels huge like double the size (sorry I don’t have a second picture to show the difference) , like I am almost to my due d. I am not sure how to approach this? Is this normal ? Or may I have too much amniotic ? I keep reading stuff which makes me anxious and don’t want this. With my first she was a tiny baby just 2.4 kg hence my bump was fairly small. I know pregnancies are different though..

Thanks in advance ladies for any of your thoughts..

Congratulations. Hun. Its entirely normal. We eat drink throughout the day our digestive systems are slow hence why our bumps grow throughout the day. Im the same hun, don't worry. If anything is wrong they will pick it up xx

It's completely normal. I remember reading about that when I was pregnant and the first results I found talked about how that happened to Meghan Markle and apparently had everybody confused as to why her bump kept changing sizes :)It has to do with what PP mentioned as well with the fact that the muscles on your bump are more tight and relaxed after sleeping all night but then they start to stretch with the weight throughout the day.

Good luck xx

It could be your baby moving throughout the day? My bump used to change shape and size all the time. I swear she was spread eagle in there sometimes 😂 xxx

Thank you ladies! Makes a lot of sense indeed :)) especially thinking now on how active my lb is during the day, it makes sense for the muscles to grow tired xxEven though I know pregnancies are different I did tend to compare with my previous.

Hii, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and genuinely look like I've past my due date. I've been scanned because they thought I had excess fluid and/or a humongous baby but all is normal... my boy is just so active throughout the day and all through the night I think he's stretched my belly out as far as it'll go, I hope! I couldn't possibly get much bigger 😂

As the others have said, totally normal. Last night my my maternity hoody was stretched right over my bump and this morning it was baggy! I'm 29 weeks. It's definitely expanded tonight though. Even my father in law commented that I look liked I was due! Position of the baby can also change bump size / shape.
