I’m having to stop and think sometimes I know there’s some in my attic already from my last baby but haven’t got it out yet need to have a look I’ve already planned everything out up to one year am I crazy lol

I’ve started getting clothes in all ages looked at feeding bibs and socks!you know how expensive it gets when they arrive so why not plan ahead ?my husband is in charge of the big stuff already got a pram from my last child I’ve told him I’m not replacing it or we kept it for nothing he’s been working more hours I said really we don’t need much except a next to me bed for first few month. I’d rather him save it so we can have a holiday before she turns 2

Hello,

It can get very expensive if you buy everything brand new.

Since we've found out we've been expecting, we tried to save as much money as possible ready for when we started shopping.

We've also tried to buy things 2nd hand off line IE pram/mosses basket, but there are certain things like clothes, bottles, pump, bedding etc that I have bought brand new.

This is our first baby too, so haven't had anything in storage!

Aww I always buy a few bits second hand because they are not in them long but husband is a funny bugger wants everything new I’d rather he’d save it for our first holiday.ive not even showed him my stock pile.my first baby 15 year ago (showing my age)I got him a lovely swede pram for about £50 and I loved that pram the only thing new I bought really were clothes because I wanted him in all the latest gear being a boy from jd sports and things were popular then.i even got given a second hand steraliser I think the best thing to do is look online what you like and see if you find a second hand one for a fractional price if it’s in great condition x

I’m only 5w+4 so nothing, but because it would be my 3rd with a mighty big gap of 15&13 years I have nothing so all will be needed minimal all tho. I won’t be buying unnecessary items, been there done that.

I bought a new pram with car seat attachment mainly as stored the old.car seat in the basement and it's now.mouldy!

I bought a fair few clothes as this one is a boy. I have two.girls aged 3&5 so basically still have all the other things, Moses basket/next to me crib/swing etc. Bought lots of stuff for the other too 😅 So only bought very little for this one!

Aww it’s so much easier when you’ve had more children and saved some things my husband keeps trying to convince me to get a new pram when we have one from my last baby and I love it!shes 4 now .congratulations on your baby boy.i think you just think about the first few months and for me I don’t want to be out much because I’m having a c section so I don’t want to be out buying new baby grows at 3 month x

I feel like I’ve been pregnant for years if that helps 😂 I’ve started buying a pack or two a week when we do the food shop so we’re gonna hopefully have a decent stockpile by the time she’s born! x
