I'm constantly hot. 37 weeks pregnant. Will my body temp return to normal after the baby arrives?

Please let me know if this was your experience. I have to sleep with my windows wide open. I know I wont be able to do this when the baby arrives.

It’s quite normal to be hotter in pregnancy especially near the end. A lot of ailments picked up in pregnancy disappear afterwards. I suffered with blocked sinuses all through pregnancy and achy joints and muscles and it literally all disappeared straight after pregnancy

Oh lol. I was wondering if booking has another meaning! Oh that's a shame. I hate feeling too hot. I sincerely hope it goes away after the baby arrives. I'm also on a lot of medication which I think is contributing to feeling so hot.

It drives me mad as well, constantly sweating and flustered! I think maybe it will go back to normal when I stop breastfeeding x

I also was quite hot and stayed that way for a few months after birth but wasn't as bad as while pregnant. X

I'm a warm person anyway, and I struggled with it more so during pregnancy too.im not so bad now, 13 weeks PP, but I did get awful night sweats for approx 5 or 6 weeks. They say its due to hormones being imbalanced and that breastfeeding can make it last longer. Might be the case as get the odd night sweat now but nothing compared to those first few weeks. I wasnt aware they happened though and was so worried something was wrong, especially with covid being around and having come out of hospital. But turns out its one of those after birth bits you don't know Alot about til it happens or research it 😂 xx

I’m a cold person and have been roasting hot in both of my pregnancies- this summer has been unbearable and had to invest in a good fan to keep me going!

Post pregnancy last time I did have an issue with night sweats until my hormones levelled out and then I was back to my normal temperature so hopefully this happens again and happens for you! xx
