Getting pregnant

Hi guys

I’ve missed my period from the beginning of August and I haven’t taken my pill from the middle of August and I have had all the typical pregnancy symptoms however I’ve done three pregnancy tests and two came back negative and one came back positive but very faint, I’m confused I wanna be pregnant so badly

A positive is a positive lovely. Did it turn positive within the time frame suggested on the pack? If so, test again in 48 hours with first morning urine, the line should get stronger xx

It was within the time frame and I haven’t done that but I did a clear blue today and it said not pregnant xx

Havent done what? Clear blue are pretty useless, it's best to use a first response test as they are the most sensitive xx

I didn’t do a new test within 48hours in the morning but do you think it could be too early to detect the pregnancy and where can I get a first response xx

It could be yeah. I just meant wait and test in 48 hours time lovely. I've never had one before but sure the big supermarkets will sell them, or amazon xx

If you stopped taking your pills in the middle of August and haven't had a period yet, would say it could be that your body is still adjusting to not being on the pill and to start tracking your cycle once you get your first period. It can take several months to get a regular cycle back if you've been on the pill.

However you may be lucky if you've already as a positive test, if also recommend doing a test with your first wee of the day as your HCG will be stronger and you'll get a more reliable result. Be wary of reading the test outside the time window as sometimes evaporation lines do look like positive results when they aren't. Good luck

Just be aware if can take a perfectly couple up to a year to fall pregnant, you haven’t been off the pill that long so don’t put any pressure on yourself, keeping everything crossed it happens and happens quickly for you xx
