Irregular menstruations

Hie, I’m 26 yrs and have been experiencing irregular periods , they always vary in lengths from 30 days to 50-55 days also at times, it’s never more than that and I have no other health issues, and also everything else is normal, like no pain , no heavy bleeding. Is it ok to have this or I should meet a doctor?

hey, I would give the dr a call. Your periods seem very irregular and even if 30 days cycle might be still in the range, when it comes to 50 days, well it seems very unusual. you said you have no pain or heavy bleeding which is good but so long cycles are not normal I think. Call the dr just to give you some piece of mind, at least you can get checked and find the reason behind those long cycles. Wish you the best of luck!! :)

I have had irregular bleeding since I was in my 20’s I am nearly 33 now. It has never caused me any issues and doctors have never done anything about it. I range between 28 days and 3 months between periods. I have a 6 year old boy and I am now currently 30 weeks pregnant with my second baby. The only issues when trying for a baby is when your actually ovulating and when you actually fall pregnant as having irregular periods mean they can’t go off your last period. If you are worried about your irregular periods then it is best to see your gp for advice they could send you for a scan to make sure nothing is going on to put your mind at rest. There are a lot of things that can affect your cycle, stress, eating habits, weight, activity levels. So if your concerned see your gp.

Thanks for the advice. It’s great to know that it could not be much of an issue.
