I'm trying for a baby!

Hey, I'm new here and me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for a couple of months now I know it's very easy days and can take up to 1 year or more, and one moment I thought I was pregnant as had all symptoms of pregnancy but took a test and came out negative then turns out it was just my period few days late. However I've been using the Clearblue ovulation kit and showed that I'm ovulating with the smiley face, can anyone recommend anything else I can do to help boost my chances. I've also been taking folic acid. Me and my other half have done it and I've led there for a while to gain every opportunity! Anyone help with anything else that could help?

Thanks

It is early days but totally understand the frustration. IVF pregnancy here. Years and years later.... finally. One of our early visits to the doctors discussed men’s health also. As woman, I think many of us work really hard at doing the right thing because we are the carriers. We spent some time making sure my other half was also getting the right vitamins and wearing the correct underwear to help his little swimmers. It’s easy for everyone else to say.... ohhhh it’ll happen, just relax blah blah blah. When really you wanna scream your head off. There are lots of things to try. Caffeine, diet, exercise, quit smoking, spending more time relaxing. Good luck

Hi, I am not suggesting there is a ‘quick fix’ as everyone is different, but definitely important to not just focus on your health but also your partners! Mine took pre-conception supplements the month we conceived, as did I also! We had both cut down on drinking, and I had stopped drinking any caffeine at all. Definitely have a look into fertility lubricants (we used pre-seed) and soft cups if you can afford to spend a little bit of money. I think these helped us a lot as the first month we used them (second cycle of trying) we got pregnant! But obviously not a one size fits all solution for these things, just relax and enjoy the process as well :) (also in terms of symptoms literally had none when I got a positive so try not to symptom spot) X
