Hi ladies,

As the title suggests i’ve my 20 week scan tomorrow. Feels like we’ve waited for ages to see our little one again.

Has anyone words of wisdom or advice?

Thank you!

Just enjoy it! That's the only thing I can think of! My partner wasn't allowed but we've adapted to that as he hasn't been able to come to anything. He told me to just enjoy having that special time between me and the baby.

Oh and don't forget to tell them if you don't want to know the sex!

All good, baby was in a rubbish curled up face down position so was a bit hard to get the right views but we got there in the end lol im only 19 weeks tomorrow and never had my 2nd scan this early so you may be further along? How did it go? Did you find out gender?

Yer i’m 20 weeks today and we’re having a little girl 👶🏻🎀 x

Enjoy the moment, you'll get to see your baby's organs. It lasts longer than the 12 week scan & be prepared for baby to be stubborn & not want to move into position. When I had a scan at 16 weeks (private gender) all of us ladies were told to go for a walk as baby wasnt in correct position & when I had my 20 week scan I saw few ladies being told the same thing 🙈

Good luck xx

My little bubba was well behaved and had a great portfolio apparently! Kept wriggling, kicking and making a scene. Makes a change as at my 12 week scan she wouldn’t move into a good position for her checks!

Xx

Haha i know exactly what you mean, half way already! Have spent the entire time in lockdown too x

I think that's what's helped speed it up 🥺 the fact we've had lots of time to enjoy it. I'm now on countdown to mat leave - is that bad? 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Not at all! Never a bad thing, are you currently going into work, or working from home? xx

I'm back at work now, I was on furlough for 10 weeks but been back for the past 3 weeks. I dont know if its having all that time off or being pregnant but now I'm back I dont enjoy my job as much as I thought I did. My bosses gave me a hard time when I was off literally always msging me to come in as they couldn't cope being at home with the children (I'm a nanny) I felt they were quite insensitive about my situation, the fact I already have a child at home & the whole pandemic. So now I'm back my relationship has changed with them & I dread going in every day now. (Sorry I've just gone of on a mini rant 🙈) xx

It may be a combination of both your pregnancy and your bosses. If they’ve been giving you a hard time, your bound not to be happy/get excited about work.

Pa rant away, it does us good to get it off our chests xx
