Would anyone be able to help? I have a 10month old son who was diagnosed with William's syndrome a few weeks ago and I have just found out I am pregnant. Does anyone know the next steps, I was waiting to see a genetics counsellor however we are currently self isolating due to covid-19 and I'm to scared if i'm honest that something might be wrong. Would I need extra testing etc
Any help is appreciated x

I am in the same boat I have a 10 year old with down and just found out I’m like 6 weeks I called my obgyn they referred me to a high risk and they scheduled a genetic testing and an ultrasound they said the genetic testing appt will be over the phone and they’ll just send my referral to get my blood drawn.
Hi, I havent heard of this condition and have just had my tests done for downs, Edward's and Patau. When your son was diagnosed did they not mention whether this was genetic and were you and your partner tested? I would speak to your midwife, you can usually just call straight thru (in the UK) and ask what the next steps would be.xx
They have said it's something that can just happen but they mentioned genetic testing at the last appointment. We had the diagnosis and haven't had chance to speak to anyone due to the virus. We were both going to get tested although I dont understand as it isnt inherited.
