Hi all. I hope everyone is OK. Im new to this group. Has, 12 week scan last week and all going well. I did some mopping yesterday and found I was maybe leaning forward a bit. Had a few twinges since then. Short stabbing pain. But hoping this is just ligaments stretching. Will speak to midwife tomorrow but just looking for general advice on dos and fonts, or can anyone recommend a good pregnancy book please. I live alone so have to do cleaning. Etc. Thanks

It was probably your round ligament stretching. I have had it from 10 weeks. I had and still the the pain low down on the right side but you can get it other places. As long as you take it easy and don’t do anything too crazy you should be fine. Just take it easy for a while and if it gets too bad take some paracetamol. It is safe to take during pregnancy. Xx

Hiya, I've been getting this really sharp pain too. It's fleeting but quite regular. Sometimes I need the toilet straight after! Keen to see book recommendations too, I've got my pregnancy Bible from library which is quite good. I do YouTube execise videos for pregnancy, robin long Pilates quite good.

Take it easy, when you do jobs around the house. Take your time and rest after.

Round ligaments start around this stage, I found a maternity bump band helped me loads. x
