Bleeding in early pregnancy

Has any woman experienced bleeding in early pregnancy ? Just this past Friday I went to the er due to very light spotting and everything seemed to be okay. But last night when I went to the bathroom there was a lot more blood than Friday and it was pinkish brown. I never actually spotted on my underwear, but I noticed it when I wiped. And it was following by period like cramps. I’m a nervous wreck at this point

Had you recently had intercourse or masturbated at all? If so this can cause light bleeding and period like cramps are pretty normal in early pregnancy. If the blood is only on the toilet paper and not on your underwear then that is definitely light, it probably just looks like more than it is. So please try not to worry, but there is no harm in talking to your GP if it continues. xx

I didn’t have sex but I did have oral sex , could that also cause bleeding ?

I used to get light bleeding from external stimulation, so I would say yes.

Can you tell me what color the bleeding was and how long it lasted ? Sorry I’m very scared at this point

Some was bright red/pink, some was brown. It happened several times in the first 13 weeks, I can't remember how long for but it was only small amounts (on toilet paper). I'm sorry, obviously I don't really know what's happening with you, please seek help if you are scared.

Thankyou . I went to get an ultrasound done , and the heart rate dropped to 93 . Later that day I had really bad bleeding and passed probably a totally of 6 blood clots . I know I had a miscarriage

I had bleeding up until I was 22 weeks pregnant. It was heavy at times. I kept having to go to the hospital to get checked over. If you are worried go get checked over. I now have a healthy 5month old

Hey I had bleeding between 8 and 12 weeks mostly brown, a little red. Ended up having an early scan as they were worried that I had pain in my side as well as really bad cramping. They said that the brown blood was old blood so nothing to worry about! They only scanned as they were concerned the pain in my side could indicate an ectopic pregnancy. I am now sitting here holding my beautiful 6 week old boy. I’m sure you are fine if you are really stressed and worried see a doctor just for peace of mind. Good luck xxx

Hey I’m currently going through bleeds in my pregnancy I’m 4 weeks and 3 days and I keep getting spotting. I’ve just been told as long as u don’t get heavy bleeding it’s ok but still can’t help but feel scared 😟

Bleeding in pregnancy should always be checked out, regardless of how heavy. Sometimes bleeding doesn't mean there's anything wrong, but you should speak to your midwife and getting an appointment with the early pregnancy unit to get checked over if you haven't already

They won’t check until 7 week scan I’m only 4 weeks 3 days

I would go and get checked. Unfortunately I ended up miscarrying due to the fact of a small gestational sac. I wasn’t bleeding heavy when I went to get checked but after my appt (which the baby had a heartbeat) later that day I started passing huge clots and knew I was miscarrying. If I were you I would demand them to do whatever testing they can possibly do until you know everything is okay. I heard light bleeding is normal but in my case it wasn’t. Make sure they see you !!!! I would NOT risk it

I have just been to the toilet and wiped found the blood is red with tiny clots I’m definitely going to demand tests today. I’m sick of this now! Can you tell by hcg tests if you will miscarry then?
