What is everyone's experiences with pp hair loss? I'm 5 months pp now and it seems to be at its worst and its really getting to me! I have long thick hair and have always had fall out but it comes out so much when I brush, even gently! Does it stop nearer 6 months?? My hair is at the worst condition it's been in a long time atm!

Thank you everyone xx

I also experience that and its been 8 months since I gave birth. I experience that 3months after I gave birth and they said it will be gone 6months to 1year.

I’m having this now lots of hair loss even mentioned it to dr but just said natural cycle of hair loss but I don’t think so. I do wonder if I have another issue I’ve had 3 losses at 12/13w & a chemical within 2&1/2 years I had my thyroid checked when they did reoccurring mc checks but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m concerned but dr not interested.

I'm 4 months pp I have lost about 2/3 of my hair thickness in the last month, but it's slowing down now. I have very long curly hair which has always been very thick, but got way over too thick during pregnancy, it was at the point where I would wash my hair and it would dry into "dreadlocks". So honestly it's a relief! But it was horrible and scary at first.

Mine was at it’s worst around the 5 month mark too, I have fine hair as it is so the hair loss was very scary! Mine is pretty much back to normal now and my DS is just over 10 months. X
