Bumpy Rash on Babies Face?

My 5 month old seems to have developed a bumpy rash on his chin and cheeks. His cheeks are quite red and the bumps are becoming dry and flaky skin.

Any tips on how to get rid of it?

I've only ever used cotton wool with sterile water and very gentle wipes on his face.

Thank you xx

My almost 5 month old has this often at the moment - I've been told its from all the dribble (she seems especially dribbly) combined with the colder weather and then going in and out of heated buildings. We've been using some Lanisoh I had leftover as a barrier and moisturiser for round her mouth, putting it on in the morning and often reapplying at some point during the day. She seems very unbothered by the rash but the lanisoh seems to improve it when I remember to apply it!

Thank you so much! Totally makes sense as he's started chewing his hands so much lately and getting saliva on his face. I have tried lansinoh and it's working so far x
