It's absolutely possible to build it back up.

Lots of skin to skin, put baby to the breast as often as you can- ideally spend a few days in bed with plenty to drink, healthy snacks and a good box set. Always offer breast before formula.

See your midwife or health visitor for advice, if you have a breastfeeding support group locally it's always worth a visit if you can get there.

Facebook group 'uk breastfeeding support' is really a really good one to join too xx

Congratulations on your little one and good luck xx

I second that! Put the baby to breast as much as possible and look for advice from local breastfeed g support group. Skin to skin is magic!

Porridge for breakfast! Bananas, almonds. Or if you can bear the smell, try a fenugreek supplement. I got mine from Holland and Barratt, but I've been having my porridge everyday and I've got loads of milk and haven't needed the supplement.

You could also try expressing milk to help build up your supply.

Best of luck.

Lots of great info available here: kellymom.com

Also, you could call the breastfeeding helpline 0300 100 0212 or find a local Lactation consultant here: lcgb.org,

You can try to express and see your milk supply also there is a technique called power pumping you can try

Try putting your little one to both breasts and let him suckle every feed even if he needs to then be fed by formula, it will stimulate your milk supply. I agree with the other replies thou contact a breastfeeding consultant, health visitor or midwife to get help or find your nearest sure start clinic breastfeeding support group.

Good luck x

Breastfeed at night as much as you can. Night time you produce more hormone which responsible for milk supply don’t give up and good luck 😉
