13 weeks scan

Hiya I recently at my first scan at 13 weeks and 4days and I asked the Sonographer if she can tell the gender,she said the legs are crossed and difficult to tell and then she said I can I take a guess,I said what is your guess and she said a girl and I asked how sure she said 75percent but confirm at your 20 weeks scan.how accurate are they

I Fund out we were having a boy at 10 weeks as we did panorama test but at 14 weeks when we had a scan the doctor could already confirm as well. I think they can be more accurate with the boy as if you see something that’s it it’s a boy but sometime you might not see his little thingy as it is hidden and this might be mistaken for a girl. You will get much better conformation at 20 weeks as then most of the time can can confirm

Thanks a lot because the Sonographer didn’t tell me how she took a guess because legs were crossed and she didn’t mention or showed me anything,like you said I’ll wait for my 20 week scan.

Usually it’s after 16w to see gender on scans their bits are teeny. u can get a private scan loads of places do gender scans.

When I had my 20 week scan, the nurse said she was 80% sure it's a girl but not to buy pink as she could be wrong. When I realised at 28 weeks that there won't be any more scans, I went private to confirm. By then it was more clear to the sonographer as well. Hope this helps
