Congrats! Book a GP appointment to confirm!

Congratulations. I’m my area we just fill out an online form for the midwife and then they contact (around 7 weeks for me) to book an appointment for between 8-10 weeks. Didn’t have to see a GP x

Same here, the GP wasn’t interested in doing another test and gave me instructions to self refer to the midwives.

Congratulations! Take a deep breath and let it sink in. If you’re anything like me I didn’t believe it was really real until the day they hand my boy up to me. That was nearly 11 weeks ago and I’m still pinching myself most days x

Congratulations! I rang gp who referred me to midwife service by completing a form over the phone. It didn’t take long x

Congratualtions.

Give your GP a call and they will refer you to the midwife. They will make an appointment with you for about 8- 10wks x x

As everyone has said, get yourself a GP appointment asap, who will refer you. You might even be able to do a self referal depending on your local maternity unit, but still let the GP know as it's advisable to get the flu jab in pregnancy.

Best of luck for the next 9 months!

Different GP surgeries deal with things differently, call them up tomorrow & find out what the process is. I just had to pop in and fill in a form, then got a letter through the post with my booking in appointment.

Congratulations hun xx

Thanks all. It doesn’t seem real at all.

I’m quite a bit over weight so I’m stressing about trying to get in better shape throughout. God..so many things going round in my head!!

I was overweight when I got pregnant, kept active through my pregnancy and stayed the same weight through pretty much all my pregnancy and after birth weighed less than I did before I got pregnant. You're not advised to diet during pregnancy but if you stay active and eat healthy you might not gain too much weight during it. Best of luck x
