Help! Advice needed

Hi ladies... I noticed my lb had a really hot head on Friday evening but I checked his temp and all was ok. He’s just turned 6 months FYI. Since yesterday he has been so miserable... gone off his milk.. crying but not his usual cry and also waking in his sleep with an unusual cry. I think he maybe teething but he’s so upset and not his laughs bubbly self. Can teething really cause these symptoms.... seems like he just wants to sleep..

It could be teething or it could be that he's got a bug? If it's teething, give him some cold chew toys, and I recommend teething powder to get through the nights - it saved me from absolutely insanity when my baby was waking hourly.

In terms of the temperature, keep an eye on it to make sure it's ok. Give calpol according to the instructions if it does increase.

Crying is your baby's only way to communicate they don't feel well so don't panic, just do what you can. If you notice anything else, get to your GP, but due to age I'd say teething is a strong possiblity. Hope he gets better soon.

Ahh thank you so much for your advice and will definitely go to the gp if he gets worse... teething is so horrible 😬😬 bless em xxx

The lullaby trust have a great baby checker app which you can use to check if there’s likely to be anything really wrong with your baby. It’s called BabyCheck and it’s really helpful.
