I had an anterior placenta and a breach baby I hardly felt any movement until about 30 weeks when she started hiccuping on a daily basis. It’s not unusual, but yea you won’t feel much this early regardless of it's position. Your baby will be about the size of a raisin still. Download the bounty app it’s free and gives a rough estimate as to the baby’s size on a weekly basis if that helps.

Do you know how far along you are? Sounds like you’re probably still pretty early. I’ve recently had my first baby and it wasn’t until the end of the first trimester/well into the second anyone could tell I was pregnant; plus your size pre pregnancy can influence how early you show. Bear in mind that at 6 weeks baby looks like a sesame seed on a scan.

I didn’t feel movements until the 4th month and if your placenta is in a particular place it can prevent you feeling any movements until even later than that in pregnancy as it acts like a cushion.

Have you referred yourself to the midwife yet?

It's too early to feel any movement. You won't feel anything till about 19-20 weeks if this is your first. In terms of your stomach getting bigger, it doesn't work like that. You most likely won't get bigger till after 12 weeks (more like 14 weeks). Don't worry, you'll certainly get to the point where your stomach will grow and grow and you'll just want it to stop :)

Yes totally relax, as everyone else has said. It was around 20 weeks I finally got a small bump so you may have a while to go til you see evidence of him or her 😊Great advice to get an app or sign up for the NHS start for life email update.

Good luck, enjoy and try and relax xx

I didn’t feel anything until 16 weeks with my first and 18 with my second.

If youre only a few weeks along then the embryo is still forming. It’s so tiny at first.

Why not get an app which tells you how big the baby is each week and what to expect etc it’s quite nice to see the progress.

I didn't feel movement until 24 weeks and I was still in my jeans at 19 weeks, these things take time especially with the first pregnancy.

EDIT: I now have a perfect little baby boy.
