SPD AND EXTRA AMNIOTIC FULID

Hi everyone,

I am 39+1 weeks pregnant today and I am in alot of pain from SPD! I also have been told I have extra amniotic fluid surrounding my LG.

I was originally planning on having a water birth but have been told now the extra fluid has been detected I am unable to have one and I'm a bit confused as to why (I did try to ask my consultant but she was not English so was very hard to understand her)

How many of you have had water births with extra amniotic fluid and everything been okay or has no one been able to have one? I'm also due to be induced on 8th September also.
