Once you period has started or finished? That depends on you cycle length and period length. Let's say you have a 28 day cycle a period lasting 7 days ... at 11 days (after start of your period) you're likely to be very fertile. if you're trying not to get pregnant then I would use something else as contraception.

No , you will need to be ovulating to become pregnant. So that will be around two weeks after your period - you can look up your ovulating dates on an online ovulating calculator and it will tell you exactly when you will be fertile after your last period. You are most fertile for a couple of days but can still get pregnant on the days leading up to and after, so if you have sex around this time the sperm can live up to five days so be aware of that.

I get pregnant the day after my 6 day period finished. Had been regular as clockwork before. So yes you can get pregnant. I got quite a surprise as you can imagine.
