I've recently noticed a white spot on my left nipple, it's been there for a few weeks now but all of a sudden it's gotten really painful especially when my LO is feeding. Annoyingly that's the only side she seems to want to feed on but it is so unbearably painful I just have to make sure she latches on properly which at times she doesn't do and then it hurts even more. Any ideas on how I can releive this pain? It tends to continue long after I've stopped feeding. I seem to be taking paracetamol but it's not doing the trick. Helpppp

It sounds like it could be either a milk blister or thrush. I've had both and the pain after nursing usually means thrush. See here for an explanation

You'll likely need to treat both you and your LO. Be persistent with your gp or seek help from a lactation consultant as GPs tend to dismiss breastfeeding issues (in my experience). Good luck!
