Toys for 5 months old

Hi ladies... just wondered whether it’s too early to think about baby walkers and bouncers. What toys have you brought for your babas that you recommend? 😊😊

At 5 months she was playing with a beatbo small bobble head toy, rattle, link rings, soft book, puzzle ball thing, one of those balls with the holes in they can grab, kiddy car keys which made noises, Lamaze toy and probably a few other small bits as well I can’t think of (even though it was only 4 months ago 😂) She wasn’t quite big enough for her jumperoo due to weight and length but she could have used a door bouncer as she had good head control by then. The walker she’s used since around 7 months as she can sit and play with the front even though she’s not on her feet yet (it’s one of the vtech farm ones). She’s currently enjoying knocking down stacking cups me and my husband build up for her, a super cheap charity shop find too 😀 I find it doesn’t hurt to have these things early if you want to get them as if they don’t seem suitable just put them to one side for a few weeks and try again. I only tried her jumperoo early as I got it when she was 7 weeks old (again another bargain find for £10!) and just kept trying until she was heavy and long enough to reach the floor and got the hang of bouncing. I know someone who’s using one of those sit in walker things at 5 months just for baby to sit in as she’s too short to reach the ground. I think every baby is different as to what they like to play with, I wouldn’t have wanted to pay full price for a jumperoo but she does like it so that was a good find and the vtech walker is going down well too, she not really interested in her ball pit but loves to chase a ball around. Currently she seems to like remotes and my keys.....so much for the toys! x

Ohh wow.... lucky lil girl with lots of toys. Thanks for the advice... will be doing a toy shop this weekend and as the moment he’s only been playing in his play gym and a few rattles. So lots to choose from... thank you 😊

I got a jumperoo from facebook for 30, at about 5 months as he was fed up with laying on playmat. He loves it (7 months now). He has almost grown out of it already though lol
