I booked an early dating scan how is it done

how far gone are you it will prob be internal.... I had an internal one at just under 6 weeks xx

They will start with normal abdominal scan but if they can’t get proper view they will do internal. The internal scan is ok (had many) it isn’t painful or anything like that just a little weird having someone picking you down there. Most of the times if you are over 6 weeks they should be able to see something abdominally, make sure you have a full bladder as it helps to have a better view.
