Unexpected pregnancy

Hi all I am new here, I am 24 weeks pregnant all is well with baby boy however I am struggling, physically my hips and back is more painful than ever which I would usually put down to fibromyalgia however I'm pretty sure this is due to baby growing and moving everything, also I am having palpitations, dizziness fainting and massive nosebleeds. Anyone else had any of these symptoms?

Your symtoms sound very extreme. Maybe go and see your gp?

I had a slight bloody nose now and then and a bit of dizziness but what you're saying sounds like a bit if a strain for a pregnant lady. Get yourself checked out just in case.

Hi Kempton, thank you I will be seeing my consultant and obstetrician next week I will persist with them and see what they say. Thank you again 🤗

Hi. The hip pain sounds like it could be SDP. Your consultant or midwife should be able to refer you for physio to help with that. Don’t wait until next week. See if you can at least talk to your midwife now as the quicker you are referred the quicker you will be seen.

I’ve had some quite bad nose bleeds. It is due to the capillary walls relaxing and an increase in blood circulating round your body. Sometimes they aren’t bad, other times they catch me by surprise and I have a hand full of blood. Not much you can do for that one I’m afraid. I just make sure I have a pack of tissues to hand if I’m out and about some wet wipes to help clean up. Xx
