28 week scan

I'm 28+2 today I went for my scan & the baby is already head down, not engaged but down it is baby no.3 and both my other babies haven't been down so early. Has anyone had the same experience and delivered early due to this

I had just last week scan at 27+4 and my baby too was head down, Thats my second baby. I think with my son he was positioned from start head down and i had him at 40+5, so not really sure...

I'm 31+6 and baby has been head down since 27 weeks, no sings of early labour and no one seems in the slightest bit concerned about it.

Does everyone have a scan at this time, I had the 12 and 20 but that’s it? First pregnancy so everything new to me x

No It's due to having a small baby before and I'm also classed as overweight so I have to have growth scans at 28, 32 & 36 weeks. Unfortunately first pregnancies or non high risk you just have the two unless you have lack of movement etc then you have another scan x

Thank you ladies. Everything is moving very quick in this pregnancy so I think a little wishful thinking she may appear early but not too early of course

I’m 29+3 had a scan at 28 weeks and baby was head down, had same with my son and he was born on his due date, it doesn’t mean anything

My little girl was head down at 36 weeks when I had my last growth scanned at my planned c section at 39 weeks due to other reasons she was breech so babys can still change positions

My first child was head down from w25 scan and was naturally born 39+4

This baby is 28+3 and is head down.

I am kind of glad as I think it must be very uncomfortable if baby lies sideways...
