It got better for me! Not straight after 12 weeks - I can't remember exactly, but it did get dramatically better for me 2nd trimester. My appetite was raging and I had loads more energy.

Some food I still had an aversion to - like eggs and weirdly mushrooms!

Hope it gets better for you soon.

Xxx

I see... Thats very helpful. I guess I shouldn't expect it to completely go away. But I hope it gets milder in the second trimester!

16 weeks I felt soooo much better but it got slowly better from 12 weeks onwards, unfortunately I was on anti nausea meds and still needed a lower dose from 16 weeks onwards until the end of my pregnancy to help me function but everyone is different x

16 weeks for me. It did come back a couple of times after that though, particularly about 30 weeks but wasn’t as bad as early on. Hope you feel better soon x

Yes hopefully not for you tho! I got told to try come off cyclizine at 16 weeks to see how I was but wasn’t good and then try again at 20weeks! Just have to keep seeing if it’s eased, I’m hoping yours eases for you soon so you don’t have it all the way x

I had sickness till 24weeks with this pregnancy, and on and off till about 12 weeks with my first 2 pregnancies, so it all depends. The only difference in my pregnancies has been gender, my first 2 were boys and minimal sickness and this one is a girl and it was horrific. But 34weeks now and no sickness for a while.

I found not getting hungry helped, and only eating a little, I became really funny with anything overly wet in my mouth (food wise, not drink) and drinking plenty with meals so if I was sick it wasn’t so thick and stodgy. (Gross but useful, it stops the over heaving causing the purple spots on face)

Good luck, I hope it eases off soon! It’s horrible feeling so crappy!

With my first it didn't stop till the 14th week but I've known people who were sick till 20 weeks and have heard of some women being sick throughout their pregnancies. Give it another week or two. Good luck

I was sick with Hyperemesis with my first until 24 weeks. With my second I was better by week 14.
