5weeks pregnant

Hey everyone I am new here. I am 5weeks and 5days pregnant I attended a walk in centre with bleeding and they sent me home after booking me in for an emergency scan which takes place on Wednesday. Is it ok to bleed in early pregnancy as this will be my first baby and I am terrified more then ever

Hi, unfortunately until you have a scan it is hard to know if the bleeding is a sign of the miscarriage. I have lost 2 pregnancies so for those it was a bad sign however I have also bleed for the first 12 weeks with it 3rd and current pregnancy (21 weeks currently ) and so far baby is fine, so it is really hard to tell. I know it isn’t something you May wanted to hear but just being honest. The scan in few days will give you a assurance and hoping all its ok.

Unfortunately we cannot know if it's a bad sign until you have the scan. I'm currently 28+3w, all going really well and I did have a small amount of bleeding within the first 12 weeks on 4 different occasions. So it's not absolutely a bad sign, but if you're filling a large pad or 2 then I would be more concerned.

It isn't the same flow sometimes lighter then other times. That is what I think is confusing me the most. I will just see how my scan goes thank you

Hi I'm 16 weeks pregnant I bleed till I was 8 weeks i was peeing red was a big bleed got told I was fine 2 emergency scans all was fine got told not to worry unless I lost clots and was suffering stomach cramps i hope this helps hun sending hugs please do try not to worry xx

I wouldn't say I have been passing clots just tiny bits of blood nothing that I would get from a period or nothing just hoping it stops I got an emergency scan tomorrow xx thank you

A bit repetitive of the other ladies here, currently 24 weeks pregnant and I had a bleed at various points, day before OTD, 6 weeks and again at 10 weeks. Turned out to be some random bit of blood that could be seen on the scan and away from the babies. Hopefully just left over implantation blood. All the best wed xx

It is possible, I bled at 8 weeks and the doctor checked and my cervix was closed . It was quite a lot of blood but not so I was soaking a pad. I had a baby girl and so all was fine. Try not to stress and worry, fingers crossed for you that your scan shows everything is ok.

I bleed all the way until I was 15 weeks pregnant. An now i have a happy 8 month old baby girl. So keep positive and hopefully everything will be ok... all the best for you scan

I've heard about so many women that have had a bleed in there pregnancy my scan is at 9.00 this morning and am so nervous thank you very much you have been a big help
