My 11 week old son had his 1st Jabs yesterday and hes been really lethargic all day today constantly crying and whining when he moves. Is this normal? First time mum and the nurse that did his jabs never really explained what to expect

My LG had her jabs 2 weeks ago, 1st time mum. We was told she would be clingy, may go of feeds, grizzly. Sounds like he is normal too me, if your worried you can always phone HV. Have you been giving him calpol? x

This is normal, every baby I've ever known has been exactly the same with all the jabs. My nephew could only be calmed by being held and walked around the whole time for a while afterwards. If you've ever had a jab you know it can cause muscle pain at the site of injection, this is annoying for an adult, but for a little baby it feels far worse than it is. But if you're worried there's no harm in calling your doctor.

Please just don't let this put you off vaccination.
