First time mum

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and a first time mum - feeling a little bit like I'm in a whirlwind.

It's weird really, my husband and I decided we wanted to start trying and, having tracked my periods for some time, I had a fairly good idea when would be the right time, but we didn't expect it to work first time. I have done 2 pregnancy tests, both positive, as well as missed period, itchy breasts and some nausea, but still don't quite believe it. Add to the mix that my mum had a number of miscarriages, I don't really want to share the news just yet - not until I'm sure all is ok. I'm also 35, so not exactly a young first time mum.

So just wanted to say hi really, and chat to others who can tell me this is all normal, without actually telling anyone I know I'm pregnant just yet.

Hi congratulations. Have you had your booking appointment yet? I know most people wait till there 12 week scan as that’s when they get to see the baby and it becomes real to you. Apart from symptoms you may just get a few period like cramps but that could be stretching pains. Good luck

hey, congratulations! that is really great, it worked so soon for you guys. You might want to take some probiotics for the nausea if it gets really bad. Of course it is a normal condition but can sometimes get really unbearable. Probiotics are healthy bacteria that balance gut flora and support digestion and urinary tract. You can try having some yogurts and these will help but I can also recommend probiotic supplements. Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural are recommended to be used during pregnancy to help boost your wellness.

I hope this helps :) Good luck
