Induction update

Hi ladies... I’ve been in hospital since Friday to be induced. First pessary didn’t work then the gel hasn’t done anything. Cervix completely closed. Suspected preeclampsia as my blood pressure is unstable and protein in my pee. So now booked for planned csection today. Can anyone share their experience with me please? I’m so scared right now. Thank you

Good luck! I had an emergency c-section and for me I found it fine. I was terrified about having one but nothing like how I imagined. Just think you’ll see your little baby very soon xx

I was sore for a couple of weeks the first week being the worst but nothing I couldn’t handle. Just make sure you take your pain relief. I walked into town on the 4th day although couldn’t really push the pram. I was quite surprised at how quickly I recovered. Of course everyone is different xx

I was wondering how you were. I'm being induced tomorrow so feeling a bit on edge. Everyone who I know that's had a c section has been fine a recovered quickly. You might want to ask that they lift the baby for you to see once they've got them out. This will put your mind at ease. Good luck, thinking of you xx
