Chest infection

I'm 37+6 weeks pregnant, with my C Section booked for 39 weeks exactly. I've unfortunately come down with my 5th heavy cold and bad cough of my pregnancy and this like my last one (4 weeks ago) has developed into a chest infection. I've been given a course of antibiotics, but I'm worried I'll still be hanging onto the cough when I have the baby next Friday, as my previous coughs have gone on for weeks.

The whole thing is making me anxious and miserable as I've spent a lot of my pregnancy feeling lousy and now this, when I should be getting ready and excited about the baby we've waited such a long time for (endometriosis and IVF).

Has anyone been through a C section with a cough? How did you get on post surgery with your scar?
