I’m diseased too 😢 Least you can rest, try feeling like crap with an 8 week old who you’ve had to the GP twice in the last week with what we now think is a cows milk intolerance and silent reflux issues (she wasn’t sleeping at all on her back anymore, barely sleeping during the day in her carrier or on people and was snacking on bottles, nighttime’s consisted of her sleeping on me or on her side on my arm neither of which were comfortable so I barely slept and panicked about SIDS, and evenings consisted of 3hrs of jiggling to sleep whilst she screamed 😭) and her 8 week jabs! It’s a good job hubby is off as I think I’d have gone insane! Anyway enough of a rant from me 😂 hope you feel better soon. Only advice I’m giving to pregnant people is trust your instincts for labour and afterwards 😀 Mind you since we got the meds we’re still not there quite yet (I’ve decamped to the spare room 2 nights in a row due to her fidgeting due to being uncomfortable as I can’t sleep through it whereas hubby can) but she’s turned into the sweetest baby, finally smiling happily and a lot less crying x

I have no idea 😂 If you are anything like me though you cry a lot at the baby 😉 (and I don’t have post natal depression) and somehow you just manage it 🤷‍♀️ (And I love my sleep!) I also lost my mum almost 2 years ago to cancer so we have no one who can take her for a few hours which is a shame as that would of helped. My dad is quite happy to take her off my hands for a cuddle if I go round so it’s not all bad. Ask me in a month how I’m doing and hopefully I’ll be able to reassure you the newborn stage isn’t totally pants 😉 I think if she gets a little easier it won’t seem so bad so it helps you cope better if that makes sense? (I remember when she went from 2hrly night feeds to 3hrly and it was bliss! That’s where we got stuck so I’m still waiting for regular 4’s) I also found I couldn’t sleep when the baby did during the day as, as soon as you put her down within 20mins she was awake and I’d be just drifting off and I felt soooo much worse than if I’d just stayed awake (typical for reflux babies apparently as that’s when the muscles fully relax and it gives them jip) I wish you all the best for your pregnancy though, you’ll manage, our precious IVF miracles x

Hi its the time of year isnt it. Ive had a cold for nearly 2 weeks. Nose is either stuffy or blocked resukting in breathing through my mouth at night and waking up to sore dry throat and chapped lips. Also have sneezed for England. Its nothing compared to Lovefood1984! Get well soon everyone! And rest plenty (if you can) x

Oh no, I hope youre getting plenty of rest. Get well soon and just take everything easy xx

Oh no! Hope you feel better soon....it’s just horrible x

Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Try honey & lemon with some water microwaved that should ease throat- my late Gran swore by it & thought it was better than any cough medicines! Also eat ice as it can calm the inflammation down. Drink plenty of fluids. You can take paracetamol if you’re in lots of pain & have a temperature. That is completely safe in pregnancy. Rest up as much as you can. Hope it goes soon xoxo

Me too. 40+2. Desperate to have baby now before I feel any worse! 😞

Apparently we can take paracetamol. Between that and not lemon, ginger and honey, I am feeling much better x
