Round ligament pain??

Has anyone experienced round ligament pain? And if so how can you describe it? I'm 14 weeks 4 days and I've got really bad discomfort like pain on my low left part my belly so I'm just a bit nervous it might be something else 😵😵

It could be round ligament pain. I think I have had it, but it was like a sudden pain on moving and has felt like a ping / twinge. I also get aches and pains and have a dull ache which my midwife said could be pelvic girdle pain so have a look at this too and see if that matches. I’m sure it will be fine. If you’re really unsure or the pain is severe then I would speak to your midwife. Xx

I had low left side discomfort a few weeks ago, was scared it might be an ectopic but turned out to be a urinary tract infection. Worth getting that checked out by the doctor as they’re common in early pregnancy. Doc can prescribe pregnancy friendly antibiotics x

Thank you, I think I'm ok though I don't have any problems going to the toilet, it's more like an ache it's a bit better today, Ive been a bit more conscious what I'm doing and I notice I'm rolling over in bed loads and think it adds to it xxxxxc

Yep, I didn’t have any problems with weeing either, but then i’m more susceptible to them generally. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

I had this at the same time & was really worried. Apparently round ligament pain is normal at 14 weeks.

If you are worried you can call your midwife or GP. Im sure everything is fine xoxo

Hello I got all the pains around 14wks, I'm now almost 19wks. I've been signed off work as I have really bad pelvic girdle pain and sciatica on the left side of my bum lol. My problem pain is right in my groin so walking and getting out of bed or the car is so painful. I'm due to have physio in January but I don't know what that'll do. I can't afford private treatments so I'm just dealing with it. Some days are better than others. But good luck with it and hope it eases off or you find something that'll help you xx

That's how I feel, like getting up hurts! I'm a bit better today but it is like groin pain mixed with pulling pains from my uterus, I never had this with my first pregnancy but my belly is loads bigger this time xxx

Oh bless you it's horrible. This is my first so I'm not enjoying pregnancy as much as i would like and I'm really bloated. But when I'm sat still I feel absolutely fine. And like you I feel better today but that can change by tonight. X
