Query of health visitor at 33 weeks

I had a phone call yesterday that my midwife sent my details to the health visitor and they rung me to make an appointment for tomorrow but I am 33 weeks pregnant, is there a reason because I am really worried

It's standard to meet a health visitor before the birth. Some people are funny about them but I found my hv to be really lovely and helpful at times when I was unsure.

Make the appointment. She'll be able to answerany questions you might have before baby comes .

Yes it’s normal. You’re lucky to be offered it- in my area they can’t keep up and lots of us pregnant ladies haven’t had our health visitor visits. You’ll have chance to ask any questions eg about feeding and sleeping I think x

That’s totally normally. They just go through some things before the birth and then you’ll see her just after the birth as well x

I wish I got offered that, my midwife didn’t tell me about anti-natal stuff until I was 36 weeks and everything was fully booked.

We brought our baby home and had no idea lol xx

I’m a health visitor and we visited ladies in there 3rd trimester tondosxuss healthy visiting and your pregnancy and health and well being nothing to worry about. You don’t have to have a visit but you have a named health visitor until your child goes to school x

Don’t worry it’s absolutely fine. I met mine at 28weeks. It’s actually a chance to meet your health visitor and ask questions.
