How to join local mummy community?

I'm 13 weeks new mum to be. Since I received my bounty pack from hospital, Im now overwhelmed with loads of information from Bounty, Emma's Diary, Pampers (unsubscribes), Boots, NCT etc. I wonder which one is essential?

Also, I would love to connect with local new mum community do you have any tips? I live in Wimbledon, London.

Many thanks beautiful mums.

Yep! When I signed up to Bounty and Emma's Diary, my inbox was suddenly full of spam. I would say Boots was the best one for me. You get a few freebies, boots offers and points and a quarterly magazine (I think it's quarterly) reflecting roughly the age of your baby. So when my baby was around 6 months, the magazine was all about weaning with offers on Ella's kitchen products etc.

Any information you need is on nhs direct. You'll also get stuff from your midwife I think.

I had my baby in Kingston so not too far from you and there were loads baby things in the area. Id also suggest downloading an app called Hoop. It tells you all about what baby groups there are in your area each day (really handy).

Best ofluck with the pregnancy! :)

Awesome! Thanks Kempton. I thought they are all essential as they from GP/Hospital, but I realise they are all about adverts. In this case I can unsubscribe everything then. I have joined the parenting club in Boots as I'm sure I will shop there.

Mush is a good app to meet local mums x

It’s really good. I met a mum down the road from me who had also had IVF so that was nice for me xx
