Am I In labour?

I had a bloody show around 5 this morning and was red fresh blood, every time I have been to the loo more and more mucus has come out when I wipe, I have been getting mild period pains for the past few hours. I am currently 40+2 with my first baby and I also had a sweep yesterday morning.

Could be the start but you won't be classed as in labour from that not yet. If your concerned ring your hospital they will advise what's best.

A 'bloody' show is normal, a sweep can dislodge mucous plug and body getting ready to go into labour.
