Hello ladies

Hope you are doing well. Actually im struggling where to buy stuff for my hospital bag as coudnt find anything good yet cos mostly maternity clothing is online rather than in stores except mother care or H&M.

I've only ever taken over sized nighties for labour and old for while in hospital then leggings and long loose tops for coming home in. Honestly you don't need to spend a fortune on maternity clothes I'm usually an 18 to 20 a d have just bought size 22 leggings and long tops which have lasted me so farbton37 weeks.

Just normal clothes in bigger sizes and things like tops and dresses that are fitted under boobs rather than at the waist

Agree with the other ladies, just buy bigger. But for things that actually fit try Asos. If you pay 9.95 it's free next day delivery for a year and they do free returns too. It's a brilliant deal in the long run x

I bought a lot of the basics from ASDA. Their leggings and vest tops especially served me very well - and I'm still wearing the vests now for nursing.

I love Bravissimo tops for maternity. They're not actually maternity, but they're a decent length and nearly always fitted underneath the boobs because of being designed for large busts. I've been wearing one size up in them and they're great and can be dressed up or down.

Zara charity shops (kids shops) often have maternity clothes as well that you can not only try on but are also a lot cheaper ;-)

Sadly most of the stuff is online. Asda have loads of maternity stuff on sale online. Sometimes you can find maternity stuff in stores... I was lucky to get a winter jacket in store. Primark and Matalan do maternity bra's in store .

Like others have said you can buy things in bigger sizes. Then tops that button down the front. For night nursing I bought bigger size pyjamas/dresses/shirts that button down the front. I left the buttons open (I didn't want to be faffing about opening buttons at night) and put a primark camisole with thin straps underneath
