Early scan no heartbeat im a mess pls help !

Hello had my last period on 23 july and another one on 7 july , so twice in july, (very irregular periods after stoping cerelle) on 17 august had a vaginal scan, lady said no baby but they saw something not sure what, that might be a polyp. No period in august and september. On 19 sept had pozitive pregnancy test, on 21 sept had a private early scan: baby in uterus no heartbeat. Im so scared! Is it too early to have heartbeat ? Is it because of my periods the weeks are less than they assume? Please im so stressed! Thank you

No one here can tell you the answer. Only time and tests/scans can be the answer. However... we were trying to conceive for nearly 2 years. We got a positive pregnancy test and I was referred to the early pregnancy unit as I had bleeding. The scan showed the yolk sac but that’s it. They told us it appears we have miscarried and booked me an appointment for 2 weeks time to re scan and double check. We went back 2 weeks later and there was a heartbeat! So it is possible that you have gone for a scan too early.

Easier said than done but try and relax. Stress is not good for anyone. Have you told GP about the positive test? Maybe they can refer you to early pregnancy unit for close monitoring?

With early scans it’s hard to determine if u see a heart beat sometimes it can be visable at 6 weeks but others it be 8 weeks plus I’d wait n book again for a scan maybe go to ur doctors get referred to the epu, ask them to check your hcg level in your bloods. Unfortunately no one knows the answer to the question I understand how worrying n concerning it is but only tests n ultrasound scans can tell Hun try not to stress harder said than done but it’s no good for you or baby

Sounds like it is hard to know what your dates would be so you may just be too early to detect the heartbeat. Fingers crossed for you- hopefully EPU will arrange a repeat scan in about 2 weeks for you. They might offer you some blood tests to check that the levels are rising. Will be thinking of you xxxx

Tks dear. Im terrified ....went to gp called the epu and they offered already a scan for today so will see what they do and decide. My husband will be with me as i need support today! Praying all is fine and is just a mistake or is just to early to see ! ❤

☹☹☹ same bad news...but its still a hope somehow, somewhere☹. Epu schedualed another scan in one week time, they didnt sent me for blood tests. Very sad but trying to be positive, praying and let it God's will. ☹ thank you all for your support and kind words. Bless u all

Yes it was tiny but was there! Still hoping, read lots of stories some saying they heard hb at 10 weeks or even 11 weeks. If same measures at the next scan, then means my little bean died.☹ so confused! Why? 😭

It’s hard to find the balance because you have to try and remain calm, relaxed and positive but as the same time you can’t get your hopes up too much.

Please update to let me know, I’ll be thinking of you. I could see a tiny fluttering heart beat at what they measure to be 6/7 weeks (at my second scan after they said I miscarried) but at my dating scan I was 13.5 weeks which means I could have been 8 weeks at the scan. Every week makes a huge difference. I didn’t hear the heart beat until I was 13 weeks either (I think...)

Did they estimate how far along you were if you were to be pregnant?

Life can be so cruel at times. We are trying to conceive and having no luck 😞 I’ve now lost my left ovary and am at high risk of ectopic pregnancy which frightens me! If crushes me to see/hear others go through the heartbreak of miscarriages. I just wish I could help everyone. 😩

So sorry to hear that. I had an ectopic in the past too, 7 years ago, not with my husband, was in another relationship. The gp here didnt sent me for an early scan even if i insisted to do one...my feelings were telling me something is not right. So i had to travel bk home to do tests and eventually had surgery and one of the tube removed. Was an awfull experience!

With my first i requested an early scan, where i saw and heard the HB at around 6-7 weeks. We have a lovely son of 4y and 8m and he is so in love with babies, and soooo wants a little brother.

We were over the moon to see positive tests, only with the thought of that day when we could of say to him " you gonna be a big brother" ☹ Seems God has other plan!

The baby is around15.3 mm, around 8 weeks they tried to find HB, but rescan to be done next Monday! Still a tiny hope! Feel bloated, feel im pregnant, no symptoms, no cramps no bleeding so far. Took vitamins, folic acid and still dont know why this happened!

If things still the same, no growth, than i will consider a D&C to end this pain than will try again as soon as possible! Im done crying its natures choice to choose which will be our second baby!
