Trying for a baby....depo query!!

My partner and I are trying to start a family! I know it could be a long process but I’m just looking for advice! Unfortunately I was on the depo injection for over 10 years! I stopped December 2017 and to be honest didn’t expect any return to normality for at least a year as this is what the nurse advised! However first period June 22nd and like clockwork another August 22nd! They were light flows only lasting 2 days but still positive! I’m currently trying to lose weight having lost over a stone already so that I know I will tick the boxes if I need to go back to my GP in the future!

I know long post but I’m just wondering if anyone else on there with experience having been on the depo for a length of time like me!?

Hi I have been on the depo and other forms of contraception for the last 17 years and I’ve got 2girls age 15 years and 5 and another on the way after having the coil and the pill . It can happen this this it only took two month I’d lost weight and luckily I fell on. Sounds daft but try not to worry and obviously enjoy the joy of not having to worry you might get pregnant because that’s the end goal they say just don’t have too much how’s your father too 😂 cut caffeine a bit but just be you same goes to your partner. And it’ll happen when ready xx
