White noise!

so we've always used Ewan the dream sheep which my 16 month old still loves, but recently with the hot weather he's been sleeping with a fan in his room (quite loud) and it's great! He sleeps better, requests it on and it gives a buffer so we don't have to creep around (great when getting up early as we're shift workers) but now it's getting cooler we could really do with replacing the fan! Any suggestions? Needs to play all night! I've heard good things about my hummy but they're so expensive!! Worth it? Thanks!

If you can spare a phone or tablet I've been using an app called sleepo (on googleplay) has loads of different noises and can put a timer or none at all and leave it continuously.

I bought a song on iTunes called clean white noise from an album called White Noise Therapy. I play them on an old phone and iPad. You can buy white noise machines from amazon that a few of my NCT friends have but they are pricey. this is the one they all have but cheaper ones are available amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01D50...
