Hun, you have been trying for less than a month. Don't get too stressed about it. It can take up to a year and a half to two years to conceive.

When I had the implant out it took us 4 months to get pregnant. Someone I know, took them 5 years to get pregnant. Everyone is different. It usually happens when you're not actively thinking and trying to get pregnant x

When the doctors say you can get pregnant after two weeks, what they actually mean us that you are no longer protected against pregnancy by the hormonal contraception.

A reasonable guide is how ever long you were on hormonal contraception for (minis the combined pill) is how long it COULD take for your body to readjust.

My advice would be to wait until you have a couple of normal periods, and then buy a bunch of cheap ovulation tests off Amazon, and literally take one a day to figure out if/ when you are ovulating and go for it!

Sounds like you're saying that if you've been on contraception for 2 years it could take 2 years for your body to adjust, is that right? If so, that's total rubbish.

Just what my friends who have had struggle conceiving have been told by their respective gynos. That of you block ovulation for so long it can take just as long for your body to readjust. But note the words COULD and CAN, it isn't the case all the time for everyone.

You need to have a read up about menstrual cycles and ovulation and learn a bit about how getting pregnant happens, you could also download a period tracker app. Technically, you are not protected from getting pregnant if you're not taking contraception however, that doesn't mean you're going to get pregnant straight away.
