Really bad sickness.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and suffering from really bad sickness everyday.

I have already been to hospital and put on a drip for dehydration and they gave me some cyclizine anti sickness tablets and felt great when I left the hospital but as soon as I got home it started again.

Now the tablets don't seem to be working and I have been in bed for close to 2 weeks and I'm sure i am going to be fired at my job soon if I do not get back to work.

I am really struggling to eat which is not helping and I have had 1 previous pregnancy where I was sick practically the whole time I was pregnant.

I just feel so useless and it is really getting me down as if I don't work I will not have money to pay my bills ect.

I just want to feel better so I can function in life.

Aw hun I am so sorry to hear your so unwell with the pregnancy being sick constantly! If I was you I would contact your gp or epu and explain to them what’s happening and now your scared of losing your job , see if they have a better anti sickness tablet for you. Xx

I honestly know the feeling. I suffered with Hyperemesis in both of my pregnancies. After dehydration and struggling to get to work I felt awful and often felt miserable. Like Sisi14 said to let them know how sick you are and how you feel. I can say there are so many anti sickness tablets. Go back to your go and try a different one. I tried various ones till I got to around 3 months and then had one prescribed by the hospital which worked for me. It didn't take it away completely but definitely had better days.
