I'm confused what can l do?

Actually I do what I should but is there something wrong ladies help me

It's almost 2 months since my miscarriage l still don't have period and we were very careful about another pregnancy because doctor said wait wait one period. And l also have yeast I l think because have itching and discharge which is in white chunks something difficult to explain.

Today l went to see the GP and told her everything . She asked when was last time l had sex and said we should wait 14 days to see if l am pregnsnt (l said we use condoms) but again she said that we should wait. About the infection she said that l should not worry because l miscarried naturally and there shouldn't be any infections (l am not happy with the itching and the discharge) she said theere is no problem go home be happy don't think about pregnancy live your life etc and come after 2weeks (2 weeks mustn't have sex)

Now l am confused l am still feeling bad about the miscarriage l wish l have my period normally and try for another pregnancy but l can't . I feel that the GP doesn't understand my feelings.

What do you think about that ? What should l do? I am pissed off waiting

Hi did she do any tests to say it wasn’t thrush? Or maybe you can’t use thrush mess if preg? Seems odd

No she didn't anything, maybe she wanted to wait 14 days to see if l am pregnant.

This is second time l was to the GP since registered. The first woman was very pleasant l liked her she helped me register there earlier due to my pregnancy actually she is my GP. But yesterday l went to there and the secretary said that l can give you appointment tomorrow with Dr Harrison actually not my GP. I didn't ask why but today l saw that my GP is only working on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Maybe therefore l had appointment with another GP. Next time l will say that l want to have appointment with my GP (can l?)

So she didn't do a blood test? That is one of the easiest ways to find out if you are.

My doctors surgery is closing an I’m having to register with another, luckily I very rarely see s doctor but it’s still a pain.

If you have an infection it’s a shame u have to be uncomfortable for 2 weeks while u wait.

I love England and living here so l don't say to be rude or something else like that but if l was in my country there doctors will check if there is pregnancy with blood test and if not the same day they will do pelvic exam test to see what kind of infection it is and treatment

I read that douching with cider vinegar helps l will do that for now

Thats not usually advised. I'd request to see another doctor or nurse and get a prescription of something that will get rid of thrush x

If you think you have thrush (which it sounds like) I would just buy a canestan pessary from boots or super market. It's safe in pregnancy too (just in case).

Periods can take some time to come back after a miscarriage. It will make it easier to know when you are fertile tho, but you don't necessarily have wait. It's more about being psychologically ready

I can't really help on the miscarriage aspect, but if you feel she is not helping you as she should, you should see another one. Has she given you any treatment for the yeast infection?

She said come after 14 days then we will make pregnancy test and then we will see what to do

I'm sure I'm not pregnant but she said we will see after 14 days and she advised me not to thing about pregnancy go on a holiday, go to fitness, read books be positive. I understand that for doctors miscarriage is common thing but for me it was like an earthquake it is harsh it is droving so l am looking forward to get pregnant again but you see nevermind l will wait 14 days

unfortunately Drs can not let themselves get invested in anyway, they have to e clinical about things as they see so many people going through the same thing. I've been where you are i had a miscarriage and never had a period before catching pregnant again. My second son is a year and a half old nearly now. But if you think you have a infection you need to go back and ask to see another dr. as it needs treating as if left untreated infections can cause fertility problems and can cause problems if you are pregnant already.

She should have at least tested for an infection.

I can't say I know what you mean but I definitely understand. It will be hard to distract yourself. For me, when I worry, I pray and I talk to my mom or someone close. Someone I know will make me feel better. Funny movies and shows offer that distraction too.
