Strepsils for sore throat

Might be bit silly but is Strepsils or safe while you breastfeeding. I am suffering from sore throat 2 days. I have tried taking steam, honey and lemon not much difference. GP no appointment I just need bit advice will be great full

As long as they do not contain a decongestant, menthol or peppermint oil they are fine to take.

In our house, we have a 'jelly drink' it's a couple of cubes of jelly in a mug with a spoon full of local honey and hot water. The gelatin coats the throat to make it feel less scratchy whilst the honey does it's anti inflammatory stuff alongside.

I have been having honey and Lemon but now throat is sore and itchy quite painful

Try honey hot water and fresh lemon.

You could also try garglling with salt water. Or I know pataceotmol is ok. If u buy the soluble one u could gargle with that 15 mins before eating and it may ease things a bit.

Bit I swear by the honey hot water and lemon
