Raynaud's and Breastfeeding

I have been suffering with Raynaud's Syndrome in both breasts throughout my pregnancy. I thought it would improve with the the warmer weather but unfortunately not - the supermarket is a particularly painful place to be at the moment and even getting out of bed can set it off and it is absolute agony. I am now 32 weeks pregnant and worried how it will affect breastfeeding - has anyone dealt with Raynaud's during pregnancy and breastfed successfully? Any tips/advice?

Hiya! Firstly, I don’t have any experience of this but I saw you haven’t had a reply so I’ll try to help. I found this fact sheet on breastfeeding with Raynauds and it has the number of the national breastfeeding helpline you can call for further advice. breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk...

There is also a raynauds forum on here, perhaps join and post to that group too to see if you find someone who has been through the same or get some advice.

I hope that helps a bit! All the best with the rest of your pregnancy! X
