My partner and I had unprotected sex last Thursday (24th May). She was NOT ovulating at the time of intercourse and was last ovulating two weeks prior to this date. Based on these circumstances, what is the likelihood of her falling pregnant? All responses and advice would be greatly appreciated!
It depends when her most fertile time is or was as sperm can live upto 5 days !
So was she on period or almost on her period? Unlikely ... but on never says never...
how does she know she's ovulating or not, did she do a test?
More importantly if you don't want to get pregnant just get some contraception, you can also emergency contraception (up to 3-5 days) post intercourse, although still not guaranteed 100%

Are you trying to get pregnant? If her cycle is an average 28 days she should ovulate day 14. If that was 2 weeks before sex she would have been due her period the day you had sex so no.
No we are not. The most I know regarding her cycle is what I posted in my original question, I just came on here to get some advice.
Well can’t give advice if you don’t know her cycle. Women have different length cycles so ovulation dates will be different. If she said she ovulated 2 weeks before sex then no 5days before ovulation and a day or two after could lead to pregnancy.

All I really needed to know is based on the circumstances above, could she get pregnant and I think that has been answered. Thanks for your help.
I wasn't at the highest point of ovulation and we got pregnant.
If you don't want a baby the use protection. Otherwise there is always a chance of getting pregnant. Not every ovulation test is accurate and just because she may have a pattern as to when she has her periods, it doesn't mean it can't change.
You had unprotected sex, so yes there is a chance she could get pregnant. It's as simple as that really.
The question was based on the circumstances outlined above, what is the likelihood of her getting pregnant, not can she get pregnant full stop.
I understand that but there really is no way of us knowing that! A woman can get pregnant at any point during their monthly cycle, if you look online it will give you the odds for each day of the cycle. However, if you don't know how long her cycle is, or for definite if she was actually ovulating then it's a total guess. As others have said, a woman normally gets a period two weeks after ovulating, was she on her period? Did she take the morning after pill or another form of emergency contraception?
Okay thanks for your help. Sadly at this point, the most I have been told is what I have previously mentioned, so I will have to try and get answers to your questions in order to get a clearer picture.
It looks like I got pregnant at the end of my period.
Even if your girlfriend has regular cycles anything can throw a cycle out meaning she could ovulate earlier or later than normal, and so get pregnant. This is why unless you wouldn't be unhappy having a child, use contraception at all times. If your girlfriend can't use some methods - and some women have issues with all hormonal contraception - then you need to take responsibility.
Good luck. Regardless of what the answers are, there will still be a chance that your girlfriend is pregnant and you should both prepare yourselves for that. For future reference, a woman can take the morning after pill up to 3 days after unprotected sex and have a copper coil fitted, which also acts as emergency contraception, up to 5 days after. If you don't want a baby get some regular contraception, there are lots of options available for both men and women.
